DELIVERY

Please provide an email address and mobile number at checkout to ensure fast and efficient delivery. Once we have packed and sent your order to our delivery partner, you will receive an automated email with your delivery details.

ISLAND OF Ireland

  • We offer free delivery on all orders over €100 across the island of Ireland, including Northern Ireland.

  • For orders under €100, a €7 delivery fee is applied at checkout.

  • We now offer a €4 delivery fee for garden-seed-only orders of 1 to 6 packets. Orders above this amount will be charged the €7 delivery fee.

European Union

  • We offer free delivery on all orders over €300 within the European Union.

  • For orders under €300, a delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the products selected. Packages may be subject to import taxes and duties; the recipient is responsible for these.

Rest of the World

  • For orders to the US, Canada, UAE and UK, a delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the products selected.

  • Packages may be subject to import taxes and duties; the recipient is responsible for these.

DISPATCH

Please enter the full, correct delivery address with Eircode/Postcode and mobile number. As soon as the parcel leaves Fat Tomato, we accept no responsibility for changing the address. If you choose to contact the carrier to divert to a different address, you do so at your own risk. We only ship to the address provided on the order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are not at the address provided and do not collect your item from the courier/post office within the timeframe given, the package will be returned to us. You will incur additional charges if the package has to be sent out a second time. If fresh produce is gone off during this time, additional charges will be required to replace it.

If you think you entered the shipping address incorrectly, email us or reply to your order confirmation email immediately, and we will amend it with your instructions.

If a product is unavailable, we will contact you and offer a suitable replacement, a new delivery date, or a refund. 

Delivery times may be longer during the Christmas season. We advise you to pre-order early and select a delivery date that is available.

Orders are usually dispatched from Monday to Wednesday. Orders placed on Thursday to Sunday will be dispatched on Monday or Tuesday.

Christmas deliveries: We will dispatch parcels right throughout the week for December.

DELIVERY PARTNERS

All orders are sent via An Post or DHL, depending on the delivery time and the package size. 

An Post 

  • Some small and medium bundles and gift items are delivered in Ireland and Northern Ireland with An Post.

  • Some small shop items, like garden seeds and gift cards, are delivered in Ireland with An Post. This is a letterbox-friendly service, so there is no need for a signed delivery.

  • Please allow 2 - 5 days for delivery for orders within Ireland and Northern Ireland.

International Orders - An Post and DHL

  • An Post and their delivery partners deliver small packages - garden seeds only.

  • DHL and their delivery partners deliver all boxes, bundles, and gift items internationally.

  • Once your order is sent, you will be emailed with your DHL tracking number.

  • For international orders, please allow 5 to 14 days for delivery.

RETURNS

Due to the nature of food and drink, we do not offer an exchange or return unless there is a problem with the products purchased. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

If you want to return any merchandise or non-food item, you can do this once it is within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in their original condition with a note quoting your order number. We will issue a full refund, excluding postage costs, as soon as we receive the item in its original condition. We will not cover the postage cost for returning the order to us. 

If your item is damaged due to delivery mishandling, please return it to us within one–week of receiving the order, and we will send you a replacement item at no cost to you. We will ask for some photos so we can send them to our delivery partners.

If you wish to exchange merchandise or non-food items, please return them to us within 30 days of purchase in their original condition. As soon as we receive the item and are happy with its condition, we can change the size of the item if you wish. Please note that exchanges will incur additional postage costs to and from Fat Tomato.

Any personalised items with notes, etc, cannot be returned or exchanged. This does not affect your statutory rights.
