Plant out: Late May to July
Harvesting time: September to October

This is the queen of winter squashes. Well-known chefs worldwide celebrate it on their menus during the winter months by placing it in the centre of a dish. It is also delicious in pickles, soups, curries, stews, and salads.
We love it roasted in wedges with chilli flakes, lemon, garlic and sage butter crust and served with fresh Buffalo ricotta.
