  • To ensure the best germination, the temperature must be at least 20°C. Sow seeds point-side down, 1.5 cm deep, in small pots with peat-free compost. Once the frost has passed, plant outdoors 90 cm apart from late May.

Sow indoors: April to early June

Plant out: Late May to July

    Harvest: September to October

  • A fabulously tasty pumpkin that can be roasted, steamed, or fried in tempura batter. Roasting enhances its sweet, nutty flavour—just cut into wedges, drizzle with olive oil, and roast until tender. It’s also perfect for soups, curries, or pies. The skin softens when cooked, so no peeling is needed.
